Warning: Tons of words in this post! Ok, with that said, living in the suburbs of D.C., you get to experience things that, honestly, aren't normal. Like my Unexpected-Out-Of-The-Blue-Incredible Evening for example. My husband and I were invited by a co-worker of my husbands to a "Concert and Dinner". This was WAY past a concert and dinner. Way past. This was a private concert and dinner at the Folger Shakespeare Library (right down the road from Congress) where we we ate dinner with a few other couples/friends in the Founders' Room surrounded by original portraits of Queen Elizabeth I. We ate incredible food and we were serenaded by an incredible guitar and cello player. It was one of the most ejoyable nights my husband and I have shared together in a while. The pics below were all taken by my iPhone, so forgive the quality. It made me so thankful to live in such an incredible and interesting part of the country. At any given day, I can go the some of the best museums, best art, best music in America. Maybe this isn't as impressive to some people--but LOOK, I'm just a girl from Texas--to me, its AWESOME. Enjoy!
