Thrift Finds (Silver Painted Baskets and cute glass vases...you know...the good things in life)

I LOVE the painted silver baskets I'm seeing all over the blog world. I mean, who doesn't love the glam/natural look it gives. It's like saying, "World, I freaking LOVE high heels and all things Louis Vuitton. But I recycle and like vacationing in the Appalachian Mountains."

It's a nice and unpredictable combo. 

Can I get a hallelujah?

Well, I happened to find this little beauty at a thrift store a few days ago for $4: 

And I decided to try my hand at the silver basket look. First I prime it with grey primer...

And then spray painted it with metallic silver spay paint (I got it a Lowes or Home Depot). 

And here she is: 

I love cheap fixes. 

Aaaaaand, I picked up this cute vase for $2.00...
